Window Graphic Tips & Ideas
Following these simple tips will help assure that your window graphics get printed as intended and fit properly.
Artwork Setup
Please be sure to setup your files at 100% scale. A resolution of 150dpi is optimal for most window sizes. We prefer PDF files but we can also accept JPEG, TIFF and PNG files.
SURFACE PREP
Wash the windows with a liquid detergent and water. Don’t use glass cleaners like Windex® which contain silicones and inhibit adhesion.
Application
Start removing the release liner and the top and apply to the window. Remove the release liner as you work your way down smoothing the material. Smaller graphics can remove the liner all at once.
Full Coverage Measuring Tips
For edge to edge coverage, be sure to measure inside any rubber gaskets, then subtract an 1/8" from all sides. See below for a sample window project.
